Beth Dickerson Bowers earned her undergraduate degree from NCSU, and then her master's degree in Clinical Social Work from the Bryn Mawr College of Social Work and Social Research in Bryn Mawr, PA.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a member of the National Association of Social Worker's special practice section for clinicians working with substance abusers. Beth has work experience in a variety of settings, including outpatient county mental health services in Pennsylvania and inpatient substance abuse treatment at John Umstead Hospital in Butner, NC.  Beth's work with adults, children, and adolescents includes play therapy, sessions with individual family members, siblings, immediate and extended family groups.
