We are pleased to offer a DBT Group for Adolescent Girls age 14-17. This psychoeducation group will be a condensed version of the standard Dialectical Behavioral Therapy model, and is appropriate and helpful for those who would like to improve self-control, behavior, and emotional regulation.

Nancy Smyth, LCSW, will be facilitating this group (her bio will soon be available on this website). Nancy has considerable experience leading DBT and other groups, and is a seasoned therapist who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults.

Participants will need to be in individual therapy as well in order to be accepted for the group, which will last 8 weeks. The group will meet weekly on Friday mornings
from 10 am to 12 pm. A parent will need to attend the initial group meeting.
