ACCESSlifescapes is a psychoeducational service provided by interactive webinar in a large group environment. In our collaborative discussions, we are noticing that we are saying the same things to different clients multiple times a week. Beyond that observation, many of our therapy and psychiatric patients feel that they are alone in dealing with common issues.
As therapy requires financial and scheduling commitments that are not feasible for everyone, ACCESSlifescapes offers the opportunity to interact directly with licensed professionals about a range of timely psychological, psychiatric, and behavioral issues. This secure webinar format will allow participants to receive peer support and validation in a private and confidential setting.
Participants will have the opportunity to submit their questions when completing the online registration. This allows the presenting clinicians to organize the webinar in a manner that will prioritize and provide the most needed and requested information.
Pending interest level, ACCESSlifescapes will continue to provide monthly or bimonthly webinar opportunities about a variety of relevant and popular topics based upon needs we identify in our clinical practice.

We will discuss general information about commonly used psychiatric medications, including risks and benefits and their use in conjunction with psychotherapy. Some diagnosis-specific information will be covered, including the when's and why's of referrals for medication.

(date to be determined) We will provide basic information about the intersecting continuums of gender identity, anatomical gender, and sexual orientation as they apply to healthy parenting strategies that lead to strong long-term parent-child relationships.

Because this ACCESSlifescapes webinar is educational in nature and intended for the general public, I understand that the identifying information needed for registration and payment is not considered private health information as participation in this webinar does not create any health record. I understand and provide consent for my registration information (first name, last name, email) to be shared with Zoom, as the platform hosting the webinar.
I further understand that all participants of ACCESSlifescapes webinar programs are expected to demonstrate courteous, respectful, and non-disruptive behavior, and will not monopolize the attention of the panelists. Should my access to the webinar be disconnected for inappropriate behavior of any kind, I understand that my registration fee will not be refunded. Prior to each webinar, participants will have the opportunity to submit written questions during the online registration process. During the webinars participants will have the opportunity to view a list of the most popular questions submitted and may submit additional questions or comments using the messaging feature of the webinar platform and/or may voice their questions during appropriate times.
I acknowledge understanding that despite best efforts and limitation of participants, I may not have the opportunity to ask all my questions during this webinar. No guarantee is made or implied that all participants will have the opportunity to directly ask questions of the panel, nor that questions will be answered fully or provide full resolution to the issue being raised, as some issues discussed may be too specific or complex to be addressed appropriately in a large group environment. The presenting clinicians will present information intended to be helpful to a general audience, therefore some information or answers may not be suitable for certain situations.

I acknowledge understanding that ACCESSlifescapes webinars may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes. Any recordings made will record video of presenters only. I further understand that should I reveal identifying information about myself via audio during the webinar that such information may be recorded and viewed by others in the future and acknowledge that it is asked that participants not reveal any private health information during the webinar.
Refunds:
If a participant has difficulty connecting to the webinar and is unable to participate, Lifescapes Counseling Associates, PLLC will provide credit for a future webinar of the participants’ choice. Future credit or refund may also be offered should a participant have an illness or other unforeseen emergency preventing participation. Any other request for a refund should be directed to the webinar coordinator by email at [email protected]. Should one not be able to attend a live webinar for which they paid, we will provide that person with the recording of the webinar and any prepared materials accompanying the webinar as soon as they are available.
Refunds will not be given under the following circumstances:
1. Should a participant be disconnected from the webinar due to inappropriate behavior. 2. Should a participant connect late to the webinar 3. Should a participant not provide correct email information and therefore not receive the needed login information
Rules for Participation:
Our goal is to provide the opportunity for as many participants as possible to receive helpful information. In that light, we will do our best to manage discussion so that the conversation is not monopolized by the few but rather engaged in by many. Therefore, by registering for an ACCESSlifescapes webinar, you agree to abide by the following rules:
1) I will not ask questions or comment in an audible or written manner that is offensive, aggressive, critical, or disrespectful of any other participant or panelist. 2) I agree to limit my audible questions and related follow up questions to three, so as to provide ample time for other participants to engage. 3) I agree to be respectful to other participants and panelists by limiting environmental noise or silencing my microphone as appropriate. 4) I agree to avoid any behavior that is distracting or disruptive to the learning environment or overall progress of the webinar. 5) I will help maintain the confidential nature of the webinar by keeping my identifying information private. Furthermore, I will respect other participants’ right to privacy.
